Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Direct Line:

Victoria is an associate at Overholt Law and advises employees and employers on all aspects of workplace law.

Since joining the firm in January 2016, Victoria has advised clients on severance packages, the enforceability of contracts, policies, and restrictive covenants, terminations of employment, and strategy at mediations. Where needed, Victoria ably drafts contracts, termination letters, and workplace policies for the firm’s corporate clients. She also relishes the opportunity to get on her feet for clients, representing their interests at mediation, arbitrations, and in court, both on her own and in conjunction with other lawyers from the firm. She also routinely presents on a variety of employment related topics, including employee off-duty conduct, marijuana in the workplace, and workplace harassment.

Victoria articled with the firm after she graduated law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. As a law student, she worked extensively with the UBC Law Review, serving as Editor-in Chief (Administrative) in her final year. She also volunteered with both the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program ("LSLAP") and Pro Bono Students Canada ("PBSC").

Outside of the office, Victoria is an active volunteer in the community. She enjoys running and ultimate Frisbee, as well as lengthy discussions about the current state of our local professional hockey franchise.
