Graham Nattress
Graham is a member of the British Columbia and Manitoba Bars. He is an experienced legal and human resources professional with a background of more than 30 years in litigation and employee relations. He has extensive employment and insurance litigation experience with one of Canada’s largest life and health insurers, an international travel company, a provincial government auto insurer and private practice. He also held an executive human resources position and was the leader of an in-house team of litigation lawyers. He also teaches the Insurance Law course at the University of Manitoba Law School. Graham has consistently shown the ability to efficiently solve complex issues and to strategize at an executive level.
Graham has appeared in Superior Courts in all provinces except Quebec. He also has experience in Appeal and Provincial Courts, Human Rights Tribunals and before employment regulators. He has been involved in hundreds of formal and informal mediations, has developed employment policies, contracts and litigation management systems for corporations and performed workplace harassment and discrimination investigations. He is the Grievance Investigator and Mediator for grievances between Shared Health, Manitoba’s provincial health authority, and members of the Manitoba Association of Healthcare Professionals. Graham joined Overholt Law in July 2022, and became a Partner in January 2023.
