The Overholt Law LLP Commitment
At Overholt Law LLP, we believe in our team, in the work we do, and in having a positive impact on both the legal profession and our local communities. We take pride in the countless hours spent by members of our team volunteering with social causes and sporting organizations personal to them, presenting to different organizations on developments in the law, and spending time planning social and professional development events for various non-profit organizations. We have a deep connection with the Canadian Bar Association in particular, and Carman J. Overholt, K.C. is a Past President of the British Columbia Branch of the CBA.

The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation
Established in 1987, the Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation was founded with a mandate to support children, seniors and those with special needs through innovative community projects focused on developing lifelong skills and independence and improving the quality of life for individuals across BC. The Queen’s University Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace
In November 2010, Queen’s University Faculty of Law launched the Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace (CLCW). The first of its kind in Canada, the Centre will provide an intellectual home for the Canadian labour and employment law community.
Our commitments outside the office enable us to utilize our talents in ways that better our local communities and inform our everyday work. We believe our community involvement is not only enjoyable, but makes us better at our day jobs too.
