Gurpreet is Overholt Law LLP’s third articling student, having commenced her articles in April 2020. She is fluent in speaking Punjabi, adding to the firm’s language capabilities.

Gurpreet originally joined Overholt Law LLP from April 2015 until September 2016 as a paralegal. During that time, she gained experience working in the areas of employment law and labour relations law, which supplemented experience she gained in personal injury and immigration law from a prior firm. She re-joined our firm in September 2018 after attending law school at The City Law School at City, University of London, in London, United Kingdom.

Upon her return from the UK, Gurpreet obtained her NCA Certificate of Qualification and admittance to the Law Society of British Columbia in January 2020. We are pleased to welcome her back to our firm as our Articling student.

When not in the office Gurpreet enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in her community. Her volunteer efforts have spanned a variety of organizations, including with the Surrey Food Bank, McHappy Day at McDonalds, and making food for people living in Vancouver’s downtown east side.
