Notable Experience

Overholt Law LLP defended concurrent proceedings brought by dismissed employees before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

We obtained a dismissal for a complaint to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal by a former employee of Martin – Brower Canada. The complaint involved allegations of discrimination on the basis of disability. The employee was dismissed for failing to comply with a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program.

The firm has represented both employers and employees before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal.
