Kai Ying is the newest addition to Overholt Law as the firm's second articling student. It is anticipated that Kai Ying will be called to the Bar in British Columbia in May 2019.

Kai Ying attended the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia for her law degree after completing an undergraduate degree in English and Linguistics. She was also extensively involved with the UBC Law Review throughout law school, serving on the Board of Directors as the Editor-in-Chief (Editorial) in her final year.

When she is not at the office, Kai Ying enjoys reading fiction and Canadian poetry, travelling, and hunting for antique and vintage treasures.
