Human Rights Round Up

Notable Experience

Overholt Law defended concurrent proceedings brought by dismissed employees before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

We obtained a dismissal for a complaint to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal by a former employee of Martin - Brower Canada. The complaint involved allegations of discrimination on the basis of disability. The employee was dismissed for failing to comply with a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program.

The firm has represented both employers and employees before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal.
